AOP Condemns Environment Agency
The Environment Agency have put out a call for amateurs and students to contact them to be part of their database to provide free photography.
Sharp practices like this undermine your future and the professional photographic industry as a whole, so PLEASE boycott them and tell your fellow students to do the same. Nobody should be asked to work for nothing, the "What's in it for you?" is meaningless and the fact that this is a Government department makes it all the more appalling:

Careers Talks

AOP Gallery, 81 Leonard Street, London, EC2 Nearest tube Old St exit 4We hold informal careers talks which are hosted by practicing professional photographers. This is a great chance to gain advice on how to pursue your career within the industry. The talks are informal and questions are encouraged throughout. You do not need to book a place in advance – just come along early. Admission is free and all are welcome.
